HISTORY

Toyo Tire and Rubber Co., LTD was established in 1945.  In 1966, a Japanese tyre manufacturer found and established Toyo Tire U.S.A. corporation.  Presently known as Nippon Giant Tire Co., LTD has been established in 1971 by Toyo Tire Comapny LTD. Toyo Tyre has been prospering all over the world during this period. GTY tire, a joint venture company with General Tire, presently known as Continental North America Inc. and Yokohama Rubber Co., LTD was established in the United States in 1988. Toyo Tire launched their new global logo in 2002. Until now Toyo Tire and Rubber Group have been committed to bringing satisfaction to people and contributing to society, working to serve the customer with a better, more affordable product today than yesterday.
