Kumho T131 Temporary/Compact Spare tires are smaller and lighter than normal tires. This feature allows them to take up less trunk space and decrease the overall weight of the car. Kumho T131 are excellent replacement tires, should drivers experience a puncture, and blow out while driving. The T131 is a handy spare tire but it should never be used except for emergencies. The T131 tempspare does not include a wheel. The T131 is different from the regular tire because it has narrower treads, lower tread depths and a lightweight structure that sets limits to its speed. With the T131, the cold tire inflation pressures must remain at the 60 psi, restricting the driving speed to no more than 50mph.
